brrly babbles about the 1975

introduction

hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post!! today we will be talking about my deep appreciation for music because i have been laying in bed doing nothing but listening to the 1975 for the past hour and my emotions have become so overwhelming that i have to spit them out into a blog post. overwhelming because i am too happy and it's crazy how music can do that to you! like wow the simple touch of an instrument and the manipulation of one's vocals combined can do this to my brain and make me immensely happy? that's insane and which is why i'm writing a blog post.

my favorite 1975 songs

a couple of songs that i really like from the 1975 are pretty basic because i'm not like a super fan but i really really really like a few of their songs. i'm going to make the links to the songs embedded into the images so you can check them out because i believe that everyone should experience these songs at least once in their life. if you don't like them that's fine i don't really care to be honest but to me they make me feel a vast pool of emotions and literally touch my brain

somebody else. i cannot stress enough how much i love this song it's so good. i can't relate to it because i've never been in a relationship so i don't have an ex lover to be reminiscing about but it just feels so right!!! i especially love the instrumental after the bridge (f that get money) like that's the part where my emotions reach new heights. 

fallingforyou. this song doesn't necessarily make me happy but it makes me FEEL. i was listening to it once on the plane and i was looking out the window down at the city lights and moon and ocean and at that moment i felt like i could jump off the plane and fly because of how euphoric i felt

robbers has the same album so i won't add another image lol but it's also very very good. i don't have much to say about it because i didn't develop a love for it until recently but one song that a lot of people from my generation know is about you because it went viral on tiktok and it's said to be a continuation of robbers and i just find that so beautiful like music can tell a story and make you experience the journey. about you is also one of my favorites but i don't enjoy it AS much as these songs but it's still VERY good like it doesn't make me feel as much as these other songs. i'm not sure why and it's probably not because i've heard it a lot on tiktok since i play almost all of these songs on repeat so i don't know!!! maybe it's because i don't have an associated emotion or moment for it so it doesn't hit as much as the other songs. on second thought it's probably because i've heard the same part over and over again and my brain goes straight to that part when i listen to this song so i can't enjoy the song in its entirety. oh well! that sucks i don't really care. i like the song so it doesn't matter.

conclusion

okay moving on! i searched up why music is so awesome and why humans love music so much and it's because music activates the release of dopamine which makes us happy and yea! okay my little euphoric state is over and i don't feel like writing anymore so i am ending the blog here! thanks for reading guys i hope you listen to these songs
