brrly babbles about her hatred for prodigy

hoenstly i have nothign else to write about so im going to write about how i hate prodigy because im about to get in big trouble if i don't go to sleep soon and this is the only thing i can write about right now and this is just a rant about how prodigy is stupid and should be better and why khan academy is better than prodigy

prodigy is so stupid how is it supposed to help me with math if everytime i get a problem wrong i almost DIE and its so time consuming like what im not going to spend 5 minutes on one problem just to get it wrong even though its really easy to solve like hello 

and plus prodigy is like pay to win you have to have membership to buy some stuff that some kids would probably really really want and u know how when a kid wants something really badly they will whine if they don't get it

SO YEAH PRODIGY IS A PAIN IN THE BUTT

i was doing a math problem and it wasn't even 7th grade math it was legit 6th grade math but anyways i was doing the problem right and i did everything right but i got it wrong by .1 because i typed in something wrong and i literally almost lost the battle but then i gave up because prodigy is stupid! 

i mean come on the idea of math being a game and defeating monsters and getting clotesh and powers and stuff like that really seems cool but the fact that if u spend lots of time on one problem and still get it wrong u would make no progress in the game at all and its so stupid because that discourages kids from actually doing math becuase theyre making no progress and the game isn't even fun if it takes u so long to do a problem and u have to do this like 3 times to complete one mission and there's like 10 missions to complete before u get the crystal for each world so its really time consuming and you barely even learn anything because they don't even EXPLAIN TO YOU WHAT YOU DID WRONG

but then again prodigy is probably meant for like practice or whatever since they expect you to know what and how to do the math problems before playing the game so whatever but I STILL HATE PRODIGY HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LEARN WHEN I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT I DID WRONG 

like all u do is type in a thing and it marks u wrong but then it doesn't explain why ur wrong but then that would be a lot to add int he game like that would be a lot of coding and it would be extremely difficult to do that since there is an endless amount of answers u could put in and they couldn't possibly add that many explanations for all the answers and questions

BUT THEY COULD JUST MAKE LIKE MULTIPLE ANSWER QUESTIONS SO THEN THE EXPLANATION FOR UR ANSWER WOULD BE THERE AND IT WOULDNT BE THAT DIFFICULT TO PUT IN SINCE THERE WOULD ONLY BE LIKE 4 EXPLANATIONS 

AND PLUS U NEED MEMBERSHIP TO ACTUALLY GET COOL LOOKING CLOTHES SO WHATS THE POINT prodigy is money hungry and advertises the membership thing a lot and that's most likely gonna cause kids to really want it since a lot of the cool looking stuff requires the membership so theyre gonna be whining to their parents a lot and if they dotn have the membership that could discourage them from playing the game which means discouraging them from DOING MATH

but then again prodigy does indeed need money to keep working and stuff so i guess i cant blame them BUT THEY COULD DO THAT IN A MUCH BETTER WAY LIKE MAYBE GIVING ADS SO THE KIDS DONT HAVE TO ACUTALYL DO THE MATH AND THEN SOMETIMES THE KIDS CAN USE A SKIP AD FEATURE?? IDK IM NOT A MARKETING GENIUS BUT COME ON

or maybe prodigy knows what theyre doing with the membership thing since practically every cool looking thing in the game requires the membership thing AND IT ALSO DOES THIS THING WHERE THEY PUT EXTRA STARS IN A JAR AND THEY PUT LIKE A TIMER SAYING IT'LL GO AWAY IN A WEEK OR WHATVER IF U DONT BUY THE MEMBERSHIP LIKE THATS ACTUALYL REALYL SMART BUT ANWAYS

WHY DOES PRODIGY ONLY GO UP TO 8TH GRADE?? i would def still play prodigy in college ngl like its actually pretty fun when it gives u the problems that u can easily solve with a calculator but when it gives u the problems that requires actual PAPER LIKE THAT ONE MEAN THING OR WHATEVER ITS NOT JUST MEAN BUT ITS A WHOLE MEAN AND ABSOLUTE VALUE OR SOMETHIGN i don't remember im not dumb i just don't remember but 

ITS SO ANNOYING I TOOK 5 MINUSE TO SOLVE ONE PROBLEM AND I GOT IT WRONG BY .1 I PUT IN 4.7 AND THE CORECT ANSWER WAS 4.6 IM SO JASFOIJAFIHAFSOIJF

ok but anwyays prodigy is a marketing genius but also kind of defeats the purpose of learning because of how TIME CONSUMING AND KNOWLEDGE BASED IT IS I MEAN LIKE BY GETTING MULTIPLE QUESTIONS WRONG AND LOSING THE BATTLE IS TECHNICALLY SAYING "ur bad at math u don't deserve to live" YOU KNOW WHAT IM SAYING?!??!? 

which is why khan academy is so much better i mean come on you could get so many achievements by watching videos and if u get something wrong it actually TELLS U WHY U GOT IT WRONG BECAUSE ITS MULTIPLE ANSWER QUESTIONS ANDDDDD

THEY ARENT ABSOLUTELY MONEY HUNGRY i mean they were kind of running low on money and they were asking for money like a few months ago because they couldn't keep running the website which  is a little sad but 

KHAN ACADEMY IS SO AMAZING AND ITS MY FAVORITE

and also if u get something wrong in khan academy it doesn't make u "lose" or whatever u can keep trying even after u fail the quiz or whatever or get a question wrong

and its so AMAZING AND THE ICONS AND THE ACHIEVEMENTS AND THE PROGRESS ITS ALL SO SATISFYING AND U CAN TAKE AS MANY COURSES AS YOU LIKE 

im not sure how khan academy would make money without begging people to donate but oh well ill figure it out one day when im a marketing genius

in summary i love khan academy and i think prodigy is an ok but trash game (meaning i would love the game if i wasn't so slow at math. KEY WORD: SLOW!! IM NOT BAD AT MATH IM JUST SLOW AND IM ALSO REALYL LAZY WHEN IT COMES TO SOLVING LONG PROBLEMS)

ok goodnight i don't expect anyone to actually read this because i only made this for the sole purpose of keeping the blog post streak going because i don't want to lose it to some stupid reason for example i forgot to actually write a blog post today because i was playing stupid prodigy and i then realized i forgot

ALSO NOTICE HOW I WRITE MOST OF THESE AT NIGHT?? I THINK ITS BECAUSE MY BRAIN FNUCTIONS AND THINKS MOSTLY AT NIGHT acutlaly no that's a proven fact your mind is more open at night idk ill research it when i feel like it or when i remember but yeah my mind has a lot of thoughts and i should be ending this right now but i don't feel like it yet so im just going to continue talking about how a lot of my thoughts just come out at night

yesterday my thoughts weren't coming out for some reason and it was really frustrating cuz then my blog post was absolute dog and didn't really link together and my reasoning wasn't that good compared to my other reasoning and blah blah blah TECHNICALYL MY REASNONGIN IS NEVER GOOD BUT THATS BECUSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO PUT MY THOUGHTS INTO ACTUAL WORDS because sometimes my thoughts are based on like vibes and intuition and guessing and estimating and whatever but
